1. The Treadmill. AMAZING. So nice and the guy was also very nice. The plastic is still on the screen and everything! I love it. Def the best deal ever.
2. The Melting Pot. We got the Latin Big Night Out and finished our meal with the Original Fondue. Very good food. A little pricey, but a good experience and go to kinda place for every once in a while. Thank you to Jon for treating me on my bday :)
3. Lowe's. Of course, we can't go to an area with a Lowe's without stopping. I found Lona a great new toy on clearance-$4. It's the red bouncy kind of toy that you put PB or treats inside of. She loves it. And Jon got a great deal on light bulbs. He bought 10 packs of them.
4. Movie Night w/ Friends. We went to Ben and Meg's after dinner to watch Couples Retreat. Great Movie. Jon loved it. One word-BOOM.
5. SUNDAY. OMG. WOW. So we have all been planning a surprise birthday party for Ike's amazing wife-Diane. Her Birthday is this week and the woman loves her some Elvis. They actually travel occasionally to see her fav tribute artist-Eddie Miles. Well we got her to Cooks Creek with a few little lies that were all forgiven after the matter. She was totally surprised. Then we had the guys-Jon, Ed (Jon's Dad), Bill (Family Friend), Rivers (Family Friend), and Grandpa all dress up like Elvis and sing songs to Diane. She LOVED it. I'll post some pics and videos as soon as we get them all sorted and distributed. Well she was totally excited to see the last act-Ike her husband. She was looking over to the left waiting for him to come out and he walks out and at the same time---EDDIE MILES WALKS OUT of the right side of the "stage". She nearly flipped. Best reaction of all time. It was great. Eddie put on a private show for about an hour and a half. This guy is amazing! Looks so much like Elvis and it's all real! No wigs-nothing. Check him out HERE . It was a fun night of surprises. Diane is a very special lady and definitely deserved this special night. We love you Diane :)
