Perfectly Disasterous: Spray Away

Ok-So spray paint is the best thing EVER when it comes to restoring an object. Here is waht I did last night with mostly spray paint.

First-I painted my bedroom walls a light gray called "Amazing Gray". I love it. Second coat will go on tomorrow morning and I'll be good to go with moving things back into my room like my bed and clothing and Lona.

Second-I bought this great new spray called Brushed Metllalic Satin-Nickel. I'm semi obsessed so I went to town using it. I started with this great bird cage jewelry holder. I have been searching for some creative things to do with my jewelry and I found the perfect idea but I'm waiting to Jon to do some of the man work before I can do it-so this bird cage seemed perfect since Megan was selling it for $1.

Here is my wonderful helper-She is getting so big! She couldn't stop coughing from the spray paint smell.

I also painted a sign that said LOVE. I plan on doing something cool with this and the photo strips from Meg and Ben's wedding as a wall decoration. I also apinted my towel rack in my bathroom. It was realy dingy and gross so I used my Nickel Spray Paint to make it fabulous again. Here are some pics from my newly painted and remodeling bathroom as well.

Weekend Outlet Lamp $3.95. The Stand alone is at Target for $24.95 right now. Just gotta fix that shade.

This stuff works pretty well. It got the job done but it was more like thick sticky glue gel form than it was "cement".

How adorable. She peeks out while I'm doing all of this.

Satisfied with my unexpectedly productive evening

Last but not least---I have been seraching for a trunk or chest to redo and store things in at the end of my bed or as a coffee table and I finally landed the perfect deal! Goodwill on Hamilton had this treasure waiting for me!
