Where has fall gone?

So it has been AWHILE since I posted. Mostly because the Pumpkin Show came to town and I was busy getting the house ready for guests to see it and trying to get a jumpstart on losing the pounds before the week of gorging myself of deepfried goodness, pumpkin donuts, and bourbon chicken with rice and beans. YUM!

UPDATE:
1. My apartment remodeling is almost completely done. Well let’s just say it’s done besides a few random things I’ll continue to shop for until I find the perfect things/bargains. Check out the pics!

2. I have revamped my weight loss program. With running coming to a halt with the crazy weather lately, I had to figure something new out! I started by joining WW again. Well my own Weight Watchers anyway. My sister gave me all her books, etc and I joined online. It’s going really well. I also have a newly found inspiration per Pinterest. Undressed Skeleton on Tumblr.com. This girl is amazing and so inspirational. Check out her site or follow her on Twitter!UNDRESSED SKELETON

On top of all the new nutritional stuff, I am starting back up with being active. Sunday was my first run back on track with Jon. Took us an hour to get around the lake, but still felt great to get back out there. Last night we went on a 2 mile walk with the dogs and tonight I’m going on a hike around Hargus with Lona, coffee, and Jillian J Have missed her so much!

3. With winter coming, I decided to get a jumpstart on my New Years Resolutions. So I’ll be writing more about that in the coming days.

4. PUMPKIN SHOW IS OVER L

Things I ate (listed in order of favorites)
1. Dippin Dots-Mint Chocolate
2. Bourbon Chicken w/ red beans and rice
3. Deep fried Cheesecake
4. Fried Pepperjack Cheese
5. Tenderloin Twister Wrap
6. Deep fried Reese Cup
7. Fried Green Tomatoes
8. Taco in a Bag (Dorito style)

I was sad to see it go, but with so many holidays up and coming-it’s hard to dwell in the past! It was a lot of fun since I took a few days off. Lots of great food, friends, family, and pet parades! Lona loved the extra attention.

5. Super sorry haven’t been posting much. With winter coming, blogging will be MUCH easier to keep up with J Have a great Tuesday friends!

Pink Rockstar + Venti Pumpkin Spice + $1.50 Fabric=Frenzy

Ok, so on my little shopping trip with Megs-I got a little crazy. After a week of crazy bills and an emotional roller coaster along with several actual real roller coasters---Sunday was my free day. So I woke up a little later than norm and downed a Pink Rockstar that I'd been saving. That jump started my immediately. I went right to work on cleaning and bleaching and scrubbing the house. Remember-my ultimate goal is to have my house painted and furniture painted by Pumpkin Show which is officially 30 days away! Eeeeek :) Excitement.

So we headed to Grove City where we found quite a few steals. Walmart in Grove City was having a heck of a sale ob fabrics. I got home decor fabric in two different colors for $1.50 a yard! I bought 10 yards of each since the colors are so basic and neutral I know I'll be able to use them for quite a few things beginning with a couch slipcover and a dog crate cover for Lona.

This is the couch to be covered.

This is the crate to be covered.

Proof of my A-mazing deal.
Fabric #1

Fabric #2

Decided to go with Brown for Couch since the Pillow tends to blend too much with the creme fabric.

LET THE SEWING BEGIN!

Family, Rollercoasters, and Fun

Last week...was nuts.

AWFUL
1. Bills that consume your entire week and future 5 paychecks.
2. Appointments that never go as planned.
3. Popped tire 3 weeks after replacing two tires.
4. Only one mechanic at Walmart.
5. Waiting at Walmart for 4 hours.
6. Midas telling you your car is crap and you should totally just throw it away and buy a new one.
7. Crying in the middle of Midas.
8. Old people complaining about everything.
9. More Bills.

AMAZING

1. Friends and Family who care & love ya.
2. Cedar Point on a beautiful day with BF, Sister, and Brother.
3. Free Coffee at Starbucks cause Jon complained on Saturday.
4. Camp fire on Friday with friends at Hargus.
5. Pizza for Dinner two nights in a row :)
6. Pumpkin Roll at CP
7. Pumpkin Pancakes at Megs
8. Adorable loving puppy to come home to at night.
9. Your niece crying for you as you walk away cause she doesn't want you to leave.
10. Mom making you chili to last the entire month :)
11. Mom trying to help with bill stress by buying you some super cute floor cushions
12. Finding fabric for $1.50 each and buying enough to make 5 slipcovers and 5 dog crate covers.
13. Hanging pictures that have been laying around for months.
14. Finishing up remodeling the bedroom.
15. Shopping with Megs
16. Getting to turn the A/C off and just keep windows open.
17. Getting on the Maverick in 15 minutes.
18. Coffee first thing on a Monday morning

So from the look of my lists-the goods outweigh the bad by quite a bit. Very blessed even when things seem to be going pretty awful. God is good :)
