No one was on the trail so we let them off the leash. They were lovin it and did a great job at stayin near us the whole time. Lona was so curious about everything. |
After this Kate & I decided to rollerblade. I know, I know-who rollerblades anymore-WE DO! It was so much fun. So by the end of the night-we totaled 5 mile hike + 5 miles of blading. Tuesday-I was exhausted. After 10 hours of work-I made dinner and snuggled up in bed for some good reading. Captivating by Stasi and John Eldgredge-AMAZING. I would recommend it to ANYONE to read. It was written for women and about women, but a man could learn a thing or two from reading it.

Can't get over this little one. |
Wednesday-I headed to do some thrifting. As posted in my goals post-I wanna get into backpacking and hiking so my search for gear has begun. I found some crazy good deals on hiking sandals-and as gross as most may think it is to buy shoes from the thrift store-it's one of the only things I don't feel gross about? Weird I know. But I am going to wash them. $2.99! I also found some great fitness magazines for 50 cents. I recently moved Lona out of the bathroom since she is trained now and into my bedroom so I have a great little table next to the toilet that I wanted to put something on-well what better than magazines to put in reaching distance. I headed to the library next where I went kind of nuts on the books. I got cooking books, camp cook books, The Smoothie Bible, Hungry Girl CookBook (If you haven't heard of HungryGirl-google it!), How to Sew Slipcovers, How to Sew bags, anddd Modern Chic-A Woman's Guide to Living Large on Less. These were all in addition to the million and one books I already have from the library to actually read-so I did ask the librarian how many books I was allowed out and guess how many? One hundred. Nice, right?

This was one of those days-I put together a whole new outfit by adding random things I already had together. Those are great days. |
Today: I woke up super early cause I was supposed to run with my Landlord, but he bailed. Whatttta pansy. Lona is almost trained to go outside alone and come back after going to the bathroom. Most would think this was risky since I live in downtown Circleville surrounded by alleys, but Lona is THAT good. She doesn't wander off too far ever and comes right back upstairs. It's great. Although, this morning I didn't let her out soon enough and she went right next to the door :( Whatta bummer. Anyway-not letting THAT small problem get me down today. It's Weekend Outlet Day :) Lookin for a lot of stuff today so hopefully I get lucky and find some good deals. One can only hope.
Tomorrow: Good Friday. Take a Moment to reflect on what Jesus did for us on this day. Most forget about Good Friday-but if it weren't for Friday-Sunday would have never come. I will be heading home to spend the weekend with my Loved Ones <3 .
